Our Emergency Service is available 24/7 365 days a year after opening hours.
Penrose Wharf Carpark is free for first 30 minutes, so drop offs and pickups are easy. Most patient check-ins, discharges and some services can be completed within 30 minutes, especially if your pet is Registered. New clients/pets, use New Pet Registeration Form before you arrive to save time. There’s no obligation involved with registering and we can also keep you updated with any special offers.
Convenient to St. Patrick Street, why not combine a visit with a shopping trip and we can look after your Furry Friend while you’re gone. Please feel free to call us on (021) 2067700 during opening hours.
After Opening Hours our Emergency Only Line is available on (021) 2067701. In the event of an Emergency we will always endeavour to see you straight away. Please note this is NOT an information line. There is an Emergency Call Out Fee of €160, just like with your GP or at Hospital A&E, except we are not State funded and have to charge VAT. So by contacting us early or during normal opening hours, you may save money, so don’t delay.
What do we consider an Emergency?
If your Pet has been in a car accident, if you suspect they ate something unusual, sharp or not, if you suspect poison then call immediately, don’t delay even an hour, every minute counts!
If they were in a fight with other Cats or Dogs, or limping badly or bleeding for unknown reason. Vomiting or Diarrhea for more than a day, not going to the toilet as usual, or change in mood or not eating for 2-3 days. If your Pet is showing any signs like these don’t wait 3 days or until 9pm or 1am to call, come straight to us during normal opening hours. The earlier we identify whats going on the better.
Do NOT give any human medication to Pets, it can make things worse or even kill them!
